You will need to complete both the Year 2 Organic and Open Learn courses over the summer period.

Year 2 Organic

​

For the Year 2 Organic all the work is submitted online.  Some of the answers can be typed in, others will have to be drawn by hand and then a picture uploaded.  All 10 modules (6.1.1 to 6.3.2) next to be completed 

 

You should be using the resources in module 6 from this website and you can also use the online textbook in kerboodle to help you out:(https://www.kerboodle.com/users/login)

Once logged in click on "A level Sciences for OCR" and then digital book.  You may also find it helpful to use the "Course guides" and "Resources" from kerboodle.

You will be assessed on the first week back after the break on all this material.

Open Learn courses

You will need to complete a minimum of either 25 hours of online courses or alternatively one course each from the introductory, intermediate and advanced options.  

​

Once you have completed the course you will need to upload the completion certificate (next to the course page).

​

You will also need to prepare and present a group presentation on any one course and a two sided course summary for any other course.

IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU START YOUR HW NOW SO THAT IF YOU DO HAVE ANY QUERIES THEY CAN BE ADDRESS WHILE YOU ARE STILL IN COLLEGE

 

 The summer homework is the ideal opportunity to get a head start for the second year.  The more work you can get done over the holiday, the less stress you will have during term-time!
